Dog-Friendly Cafe in Norwich - Dogs Welcome Inside
Bringing the dog? Brilliant. At Revive Cafe on Nelson Street, your four-legged friend is welcome inside on a lead - water bowls out, treats ready, and a warm space to settle while you eat.
Plenty of cafes in Norwich say they're dog-friendly, then point you to a chilly bench outside or a single table by the door. Revive Cafe is different. Dogs are genuinely welcome inside, in the warm, on a lead - rain, shine or a proper Norfolk downpour. We're a community cafe, and your dog is part of the community too.
Dogs Welcome Inside, Not Just Outside
When we moved into our indoor space at Alive House, keeping it dog-friendly was never in question. Whether it's a frosty winter morning or a wet afternoon, you and your dog can come in, find a table and settle - no being banished to the pavement. It's one of the things our regulars love most.
What We Lay On for Your Dog
- Fresh water bowls - always out and topped up.
- Treats behind the counter - we'll happily offer one (with your permission).
- Room to settle - plenty of floor space beside the tables, no squeezing past chairs.
- A genuinely warm welcome - all breeds and sizes, from tiny puppies to big softies. No charge, no fuss.
A Cafe Built Around Dog Walkers
We're a short walk from Norwich city centre and the riverside walks, which makes us the perfect mid-walk stop. Loads of our regulars are dog walkers who pop in to warm up halfway round. And while your dog gets a fuss and a drink, you can tuck into our all day breakfast - a full English for just £6, served right up to closing - or a handmade burger with seasoned fries. A Few Simple House Rules
So everyone - two legs and four - has a relaxed time, we just ask:
- Dogs stay on a lead while inside.
- Keep your dog near your own table and out of the serving area.
- Let us know if your dog is nervous around others, and we'll find you a quieter spot.
- You know your dog best - if there's an accident, just grab us and we'll sort it together.
Every Visit Helps Local People
Revive Cafe is run entirely by volunteers from Alive Church Norwich, and 100% of what we make goes to supporting people in need across the city. So a coffee and a catch-up with your dog also helps fund real help for your Norwich neighbours. You can read more about our community impact, or our dog-friendly promise and why it will never change.
