Volunteer With Us - We're 100% Volunteer Run

There's something you should know about Revive Cafe: we don't have a single paid member of staff. Not one. Every person you see behind the counter - making your coffee, cooking your breakfast, serving your burger - is a volunteer giving their time freely to help others.

That's not a cost-cutting measure. It's the whole point.

Where Does the Money Go?

Because we have no wages to pay, 100% of what Revive Cafe makes goes directly to charity. Every penny from every coffee, every breakfast, every burger goes straight into funding the work of Alive Church in the local Norwich community.

That money supports:

• Emergency food and essentials for Norwich families in crisis
• Safe space and support services at Alive House
• Community events and activities in the Nelson Street area
• Mental health and wellbeing support for local residents
• Youth programs and community development initiatives

When you buy a coffee at Revive, you're not paying for someone's salary or lining anyone's pockets. You're directly funding work that helps real people in Norwich who are going through tough times. That's what makes this place special.

What It's Like to Volunteer at Revive

Our volunteers come from all walks of life. Some have barista experience, some have never made a coffee before they walked through our doors. It doesn't matter - we'll teach you everything you need to know.

Who Can Volunteer?

Anyone! Seriously. Whether you're a student looking for experience, retired and wanting to stay active, between jobs, new to Norwich and wanting to meet people, or simply someone who wants to give back - there's a place for you at Revive.

We're flexible with shifts and we'll work around your schedule. Whether you can give us a full day a week or just a few hours here and there, every bit of help makes a difference.

No experience needed. No special skills required. Just a willingness to muck in, have a laugh, and help us serve our community.

What Roles Are Available?

We need help with all sorts:

• Front of house - Serving customers, taking orders, being the friendly face of Revive
• Barista - Making coffee and drinks (full training provided)
• Kitchen - Food prep, cooking breakfasts, making burgers
• Cleaning and setup - Helping open up and close down

Revive Cafe exists for one reason: to fund the work that Alive Church does in the local community. We're not a business trying to make a profit. We're a charity project where everyone involved gives their time for free because they believe in what we're doing.
